PPC Group (Public Power Corporation Greece PPC S.A, PPC Group) is the largest clean energy company in Southeast Europe. PPC has committed to sustainable growth by reducing CO2 emissions by 74% (Scope 1 and 2, 3 (cat. 3)) and by reducing Scope 3 emissions by 42% in 2030 (with 2021 as base year).

PPC is currently the sole provider of hydropower and pumped storage hydropower (PSH) in Greece. It has been actively involved in the engineering, design, construction and operation of hydropower plants and pumped storage hydropower with a total installed capacity of over 3.2 GW. The average annual hydroelectric generation from these hydropower plants is approximately 4,020 Gwh (average 5 years) and depending on the hydraulicity of the year covers 8 ÷ 10% of the total energy generation of PPC S.A.  

PPC is actively involved in the development of new hydropower projects with a focus on PSH projects and considering the development of numerous PSH projects in lignite mines and elsewhere for new hydropower projects. Two large projects with a combined capacity of around 200MW are currently under construction.
