Empresas Públicas de Medellín

Empresas Públicas de Medellín (EPM) is a state-owned utilities company in Colombia, with a 22.6 per cent market share and an installed capacity of 3,540 MW. EPM has 26 generation plants, comprising 24 hydroelectric plants, one 460 MW thermal plant and a 19.5 MW wind park.

EPM is constructing the Ituango hydroelectric project (2,400 MW) which is the largest in Colombia and is developing the Bonyic hydroelectric power plant in the Republic of Panama. The company contributes to well-being and equitable development in communities.
