In this briefing you can learn more about the status of hydropower worldwide, discuss hydropower issues that affect your activities, and also meet some of our members.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ is not always incentivized as an important part of the energy mix. Events around the world impact energy, water and climate policies, and tend to influence decisions about hydropower.
We promote sustainable hydropower, and look for practical solutions to the barriers faced by the sector. We work to safeguard the future of hydropower, by making strategic progress on issues arising from developing and operating projects sustainably, and striving to ensure that hydropower is appreciated for the benefits it can bring.
We champion continuous improvement in the hydropower sector through dialogue with all stakeholders. It is our mission to advance sustainable hydropower by building and sharing knowledge on its role in clean energy systems, responsible freshwater management and climate change solutions.
